About Us

Lynne Greer, M.S., L.M.H.C., N.C.C.

Lynne Greer, MS, L.M.H.C., N.C.C, is the Special Education Advocate with The Goldberg Center for Educational Planning™. She completed her training through the Federation for Children with Special Needs in 2000. Lynne brings almost 15 years experience in the human services to the group. She possesses a strong background for providing educational, clinical and direct care. Lynne contributes a passion for helping families and children in need, and prides herself on her professionalism and commitment to providing the highest quality service.

Over the years, Lynne has provided advocacy to children ranging in age from 3-21, who present with a broad spectrum of issues. Some areas of expertise for Lynne include providing advocacy to children who present with Autism Spectrum disorders (especially those with Aspergers Syndrome), ADHD, and mental health issues. In addition, Lynne's work has centered on children with severe behavioral problems, some of whom are juvenile offenders.

Lynne is authorized by various counties to provide specialized advocacy services as a Guardian ad Litem for children appointed by the Juvenile Courts deemed in need of services. In addition to her experience in special education advocacy, Lynne brings a number of credentials and affiliations to her work with The Goldberg Center for Educational Planning™.


Lynne completed her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY. She is also a state Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has had a great deal of hands on experience in many settings. She has provided individual and group counseling, in home-behavioral consultation, as well as clinical support to clients in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. Lynne has worked at various mental health clinics serving typically developed as well as special needs children and their families. Lynne is based in The Goldberg Center for Educational Planning™ in Braintree, Massachusetts.
